Just sprinkled on the south side of the metro area but I hear the hail out towards aurora was large and heavy.

What do you consider "south of the metro area"? I am in Littleton and it sucks last night. I have a shit ton of clean up to do. 20150605_074854.jpg

I work at Lincoln and I-25 and we just got a little rain overnight; I'm staying at University and Dartmouth and it was just rain there when I left for work at 23:15.

Well goodbye Jetta. Apparently a storm drain was clogged and flooded the road. The doors seal pretty well but the engine did not like drinking that much water.

    Leaf blower ftw!! . :)

My neighbors mulch kept flooding into my rock so I bought a leaf blower with a mulching attachment cleaned it all up for him, told him to fix his problem. It happend again so I muclhed it up again and left it in front of his front door, it's a lot of mulch he could not use his front door. He's now getting rock.

Yeah if it will dry out I will blow it onto the grass and then mow it up. But it looks like we are about to get rain again here in a bit. :(

Yeah, it's good for me. Rough couple of months for sure. As some already know my mom passed away about a month ago and I've been dealing with that both mentally and all the things that need to be done now. After 8 years of battling breast cancer her body finally couldn't match her mind. We tried to get as much stuff lined up as we could in the days/weeks/months and even years leading up to it but I wasn't anywhere near as prepared as for it once it actually happened. Moving her in with us a year ago was good for both of us and while we had our bad times it was great time that we were able to have together and it was an honor to devote myself to her full time in an effort to make her life a little bit better. I kind of checked out of a lot of things the past few weeks so the fact that the forum had changed drastically was just about the last thing on my mind. At any rate, moving forward now and the fact that the instant notification has returned will help moving forward. Thanks for the invite but I slept in a little bit today since I had a rough time sleeping last night since our one dog isn't a big fan of thunder and we had plenty of it. I plan on being a little more active this summer in all the things I've wanted to do for years so hopefully I will be able to take you up on these offers a lot more moving forward.

My crawl space flooded again (been on and off since the beginning of May).

Mitigating that as we speak. Again.

But all in all, not bad considering the intensity the storm.

I heard it start hailing around 11 last night and looked at the radar. Dark red heading right for us and warnings of silver dollar sized hail. So hopped in the truck and chilled under a gas station awning for about an hour. Tons of rain. But the hail only managed to get to pea size where I was at luckily. I'm still glad I went though as the big stuff barely missed us and nailed Fort Carson and the opposite end of 8th street (which I was on). Funny how hail can be so localized.
