The local Toyota dealership here offers it. No additional cost. Honestly it's the entire reason I got the taco. I had a Nissan frontier SL that I got in 2012 which had a transmission that would OCCASIONALLY have the rpms go up and then jerk into gear when light turned green. 59k on it. Took it into Nissan and they claimed to not be able to find anything. They offered me 23k for it. I drove across the street on my way home and Toyota offered me 22k for my frontier and offered me the lifetime warranty. Got my Tacoma for 30k. Financed 8k
    Sold

If it breaks and the dealership is closed. he's outta luck. If it breaks and he can't get parts anymore he's outta luck. If he moves away from the dealership and wants SC warranty coverage he's outta luck. Now that Toyota has discontinued the SC sales it ain't lifetime anymore...... The SC is pretty bulletproof though, it's not pushing the engine really hard. I can see the SC coolant pump wearing out, that is easy nuff to fix, just a pump.

I have an S/C bought the truck in 2014, put SC on in 2014, when I bought the truck I got the 8 year warranty. Covered by Toyota for 8 years.... But now they dis the SC, so I hope in the future I will be covered.

True. If that dealership folded I'd be s.o.l.
Kinda think that I'll be alright though. Hendrick automotive group
Interesting idea about how they'll handle it after they no longer make them.

Sad indeed. So tempted and almost pulled the trigger a few times.
I put only a few miles per year as I just got my second oil change at 8,010 miles.
I can get them at deep discount (near cost both part and labor) as our company owns 2 Toyota stores.
But, I can spend far more exciting things to spend $5K on. Like another motorbike (already own a BMW R9T) maybe a nice used Triumph.
She is a 6MT Baja and aside from headlights and foglights mostly stock and drives well enough for me. Only haul stuff in it when we moved and for IKEA runs and she does well enough on those.

Although the thought of having more HP makes any person drool, I will just save the money for another spending spree...

However it is still sad that the SC program comes to an end...

I would like to say this sucks, but my truck is 7 years old now. I should have had it installed when it was new, or at least within the first year or two. Oh well, plan B - Pro-Charged LS7... :D

As long as then produce a damn 6 plug ECU UCON for the 09+ Tacomas , I'm fine with that ha

I understand where you're coming from but if I had a substantial discount on such a large and sought after item I would take it now. The fact that it's a Baja makes it that much better.

Yea I'd definitely just buy a URD SC and pay someone extra to make a working harness for UCON and other crap AND STILL have money left over before I bought that

I was trying to buy one before they were all gone. Monday there where 16 fit kits nation wide, Tuesday I called a couple dealers to try and get a good price, and within the hour I started calling it went from 14 to 60 backordered, then the next call 90 back ordered and today it's not listed anymore. I was like 2 hours away from doing it too ):
