Hello all. I have decided to step up the tire size on my '15 DCSB. I think I am going to go with 265/75/16. I found a set of ProComp 7031s at 20% off. I was gonna pull the trigger on those, but I read a couple of threads on here that said they were very difficult to get balanced. This has made me nervous about them to say the least. Is balancing something that is a pain with most aftermarket rims, or just some? Right now Im kinda leaning towards just plasti dipping the stock ones..at least for now.

You might have issue you might not its all part of game there is solutions for every issues that may come up with modding any truck or car you just have to,take a chance and have the cash and know how to,deal with the problem when it comes up . So if you have to ask Questions like this about tires you are not ready so like you said buy a can of paint to start and see how it goes .

If you like them, go for it. Not everything you read online can be trusted.

There are hundreds of posts on here about how great Hankook Dynapro tires are, right? There are.
I ran them for 6 months and had NOTHING but constant problems, went through 6 tires and 5 or 6 rebalances. Pieces of shit.

Sometimes you have to step forward and figure it out when you get there.

I like the look of them, but they did not work for me whatsoever.

Wish they did. Oh well, I tried.

That's ok I have the BF Goodrich rugged terrain. I got then with about 1500 miles (still new) for 200.00 All 4 on this web site.

    I couldn't pass that up.

You should like them.....have been running them on my Tundra for about 2 years and they work great in pretty much everything (haven't done real mud, but they are awesome in the snow). $200 was a steal....on a good sale mine were like $725. Definitely not at all like the "Rugged Trail" crap that comes stock!
