Yeah between you and @Nate87 i'm getting the itch for 35s... just trying to catch up some maintenance stuff and things needing replacing. being a 4 banger and have a 70 mile commute everyday kind of makes me want to stick to 33s though haha

    Yesterday was a good day!

I ordered replacement diffs from @ECGS with 4.56 gears, new bearings and ARB locker upfront, along with the ARB dual compressor and manifold. Can't wait to install those!

I also installed an anti condensation mat in the RTT from @TepuiTents and finished up wiring the @RigidIndustries lights on the RTT.

I still need to figure out how to angle the lights down more to get more lighting around the immediate perimeter of the truck since they are maxed out at the moment. All the wiring is hidden on the inside of the rails. I drilled and tapped some torx bolts with some loom hangers so they are not going anywhere. I used those square self adhesive zip tie mounts before, but those would tear off easy on the highway. The DT connectors at all points keep the connections dry and dust free.

Thanks man! I really like the Camburgs. They tend to squeak a lot, but if you lube them often with Triflow or PFTE spray you should be good. I'm at 2 years with them right now and I have to replace the uniballs, so they do requite some maintenance.

If you don't need the down travel, I would go with the ball joint version.

That's coming! It's for a dual battery. The wood is just to prototype before I get it cut on the water jet. I think I found a good spot for the compressor, but I need to get it first to make sure.

I'm going to rewire the relay box on the driver side to the passenger side.

But you know, I could see about making a mount there with a tank and compressor...

Ok thanks. I'm still debating what to go with. I just don't want to spend $700+ on total choas UCA's...

I've been seeing some new ones lately on TW, JBA's(they're red) I think they are in the 450-500 range. Then there's always LR's for 350-75.
Iggy, that's a really great idea to fab the mount out of wood. Is the wood used as a template next?

I added a gas spring on the tire carrier. What a pain and it doesn't work like I planned. Lame.

What aspect didn't work? Not enough resistance in the shock or is the location not positioned well enough.

Both. After measuring twice, and getting everything dialed in, it turned out I was 1/8" short when closing. I had to get creative and trim some material off the ends to get it to close.

It's also too small. I didn't want it to hit the tail gate when down so my options on length were limited so this is the best size that worked. It's a 90# version, but realistically I need a 120. I figured since it's horizontal, it's pushing maybe 30#'s so 3 times that would be good based on the location and angle, but it looks like my math was off and it's more like 4 times.
