    Hahahahaha yeah I was there. Hmmmm Memorial Day??? For sure not in Texas that day but was driving all around getting stuff done for RT. Mainly was in Albuquerque that day I think.

    All damage has been repaired and upgraded. Spindles now have TC Spindle Gussets (swaybar version), FK uniballs swapped out on my UCAs, TC UCA Bushings swapped out. Suspension is now tight again. Once I get an alignment Monday it will be back to normal...

    My Stearing rack or pump is groaning at me... gotta get that checked out, I'll have @lotsoftoys look at it when I bring it in for an alignment.

    brakes are acting weird, sometimes feel warped, other times just fine... some times pull left, sometimes right, others no pull at all...

    His was having issues again this year at RT. I'm curious if @rctoy power steering fluid did the trick. I never used Dex, only power steering fluid from BG products, a semi-synthetic. I'm trying to get the BG rep to get me specs on when it starts to break down. Normal Dex begins to break down above 180°

    So after I put that synthetic fluid Konsta gave me in it was fine all week. I spoke with rack Doctor quite extensively about my problems. He agreed fluid sounds to be the culprit. It would be stupid for me to start throwing parts at it until I verify it's not the fluid. Just yesterday I flushed it again, this time with full synthetic Lucas Ps fluid. Expensive stuff, but has awesome reviews for high stress driving. I'll let u know how it does!

    Brandon, if u need a rack I wouldn't hesitate to send you to rack doctor. Tell him I sent u. Super cool guy, knows way too much about p/s too lol

    :anonymous: I lied about the fluid being full syn. that was what I thought I had but I was wrong you got normal stuff (the right type of fluid and a decent quality). All I have to say about steering is keep it clean and cool. Cool being the biggest thing. when mine got worked it started to heat up and the pump would make a little noise that's about the only way I figured out that I had once again forgot my front :locked: engaged.

    I put tundra calipers and rotors on Laurens truck. Stops much better and she doesn't have to deal with warped rotors.

    Man those BFE gnats are insane. The bug bites hit me like days after and they are freaking insanely itchy!!

    Technically they are desert midges, pinyon gnats or 'no see-ums' (genera Culicoides & Leptoconops). No treatment out there works consistently & tonight the itch was simply unbearable. Nothing has relieved the itch so far so I tried something drastic & rather painful in the short term. It's only been two hours but the irritation is all but gone. If this works for 24 hours, I'll let everyone know.
