    I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    Mike when you do your leaf springs start on the drivers side and do the front bolt 1st. It can be a pain in the ass with the tank in your way. Right Denis?

    How much lift does the Eibach with bilstiens @ 0.85 give? With my 2 in lift, I had to have about a degree of positive camber to even have a chance to have some positive caster. With the Camburgs, it went to 0 camber, over 2 degrees of caster. If you have less lift, you should be able to have better caster and camber with the stock UCAs.

    About 2.5" but the ARB should weigh it down some I would imagine.

    Ah, good to know. Yeah, its going to be tough to keep camber at 0 and have enough caster.

    It really seems to vary truck to truck with the Tacoma though. Rob ran his Billies at 2.5 and was able to get perfect alignment but I was boarderline at 1.5" of lift. Just luck of the draw unfortunately.

    I'm hoping all my Fluid Filming will pay off with the leafs. I also have an air impact so hopefully that'll help.

    What I need to keep an eye on is the Icon AAL hitting the gas tank mount. Apparently it's an issue on '14s but who knows with my truck.

    I will keep that in mind though about mounts.

    8.5 Fisher XV2, some switches, some lights.
    I wouldn't think it'd be bad on a '13 anyways. Grade 8 hardware usually holds up pretty well.
    I replaced the (original) leaves on the front of my '84 last fall, and they came off pretty easy. Sprayed the nuts with PB blaster, broke them loose with a breaker bar, and they spun right off with a regular ratchet/socket. I would think yours would be pretty easy with it only being a couple of years old...

    Anyone else here have the catylitic converter heat shield bracket bolts rust of?? Creating one hell of a rattle? My driver side is off for the moment til I can replace the hardware. Seems fairly consistent with the riot frame area so I am think this is normal...


    I just could not take the rattle at 815 rpm or 1180rpm. Had to rip it off.

    I believe all of my heat shields were ripped off by the time I traded mine in. They did just what you described, rattle like hell so I yanked them off. Don't worry about them in my opinion.
    Yeah, because of the top plate. That extra 1/4" made it more fun to wiggle into place.

    Eh, I daily drove an STi for 5 years prior to buying the Tacoma. Stiff riding vehicles are nothing new. The STi punches you in the kidneys every chance it gets.

    Seems the LCA on that side needs to be pushed down hard to get the shock to line up with the mount, and the UCA bolt is tricky to get in/out on that side. Also, seems that side is slightly more rusty.
