    There's nothing "base" about it. Everything is really tastefully done (IMO). Not overly gaudy, brushed finish and stitching in all the right places. The color matched grill and bumpers doesn't make it look like a fucking semi truck. And the extra 1 liter of fury and extra gear in the transmission (compared to my 06) makes me horny.
    Wait till you see what I have in store for the new tow pig.

    I only said that because when the sales guy asked what truck i was looking for, I said if I was in the market I'd buy base model and then I'd upgrade it myself, so he pulled out a platinum thinking to impress me. I was impressed, its a great truck, but I definitely led out our conversation with "I'm here for service, I am NOT buying a vehicle today, I'm just looking around while I wait"

    Correct, sold the toy hauler about 3 years ago. Still have the deck over car trailer though.
    I was referring to some tasteful mods to the tundra though when I said "what I have in store." I'd like a boat, but my neighbor has a 28 footer with twin chevy v8's engines...both of which are blown with a smaller pulley and water to air intercoolers. Its easy and cheaper to just give him gas money and beer.

    Boats are a lot of fun for the whole family. And with a good outboard motor they are cheap to maintain and they don't burn a ton of gas. I bet that twin v8 must drink a lot.

    Carnegie was fun! Had the place all to ourselves. Frame twister, rocks, and staircase. Trailer hitch took a hit and my sliders served their purpose. Kick out kept my wheel from rock rash.

    Solid flex from the SAS explorer, though his springs were frowning big time. Gotta dial in his bumpstops. Wish I took more pics.
