begging for the a-card goes best at work. especially with newer folks! i work as a pipefitter/ welder so there is no shortage of assholery around.

"whered ya get that wrench from? my kid's toybox??" most the digs at peoples welds make me sick, unless its me raping the guy that always talks shit about other peoples work.

the rest of it comes out when i go out unfortunately. loud, skanky women tend to bring out the worst in me for some reason.

shit-faced one night and my buddy introduces me to his new toy.

"oh, ello! nice to meat ya!" (some sort of british/ aussie/ new zealand accent that rears its head when im drunk)

she gets all excited about me being british, goes on about how sexy it is, while my buddy and wife standby a little confused about things.

"why thank-you miss! but let me fuckin tell ya, you call me a brit again im gunna be good and mad, im obviously from new zealand, not a fuckin wanka now piss-off!

she goes on and on about how sorry she is and she's not racist and all the usual drunk things women talk about, so i chatted with her for a while and told her my "story". anyway, few hours later im talking with somebody about "the idiot who thinks im from new zealand" in american voice and this poor gal overheard and lost it. i guess she felt like she had risked alot by flirting with me for hours. broke her dreams of living with a welder from new zealand lol.

i could here her screaming asshole her whole way out of the bar and down the street!!!!

Well I'm an asshole too, I think everyone have their asshole moments, some just have more than others.
I get stressed and become an asshole, it like putting on a mask and cape. I become captain ASSHOLE...
its generally my wife that calls me an asshole. i don't really get into with others.

I then told him who it really was and he called me an asshole

 

I find it funny how "he" says he was born with the soul of a woman. Well it just so happens I was born with the soul of a tiger. I like to paint stripes all over myself and practice my roars in the mirror. Does that make me a tiger?

I am a total and royal asshole..usually it comes down to me having a very high level of intolerance for stupidity and people who feel they are better than others.

I know it's considered a MA thing, but I hate people who don't use a turn signal. If I was a cop I could sit at the rotary I drive on every day for work and write a shitload of tickets for it.

I have a person on my team at work who refuses to pull their weight and it sucks. Unlike others, I refuse to help them be lazy and enable it. Sadly this person is one who will make it a race thing (they are black) if disciplined in any way.

I have yelled at people more than once for talking in the movie theater..only after nicely asking them to be quiet more than once, but yeah then I'm the asshole. Works for me.

Enabled people are assholes

 

One thing worse than enabled in my book is those who play the discrimination card when it is false.

A friend of mine was a manager and got accused by 2 of his direct reports of being prejudiced. He had placed them on performance management and they said it was because they were black. In reality they were not doing their jobs..being late, too many mistakes, etc.

The 2 reported him to Human Resources and there was a meeting for the 3 of them and the HR rep. Upon arriving my friend said he would like to first get to know one another a little better and that he would start by telling them a little about his family. He produced a family picture and showed it to the 3 of them. They looked to see that his wife was black and his 2 children were half-black. That meeting didn't last another 3 minutes.

 

Is it? I always thought it was an everywhere thing

 

I won't deny it happens everywhere, but it seems to me to be that us Massholes in general abuse the privilege..
