I used an inline fuse with a 5 amp fuse for the lights. Power and ground both connected direct to the battery. Watch a video on youtube how to connect waterproof led strip. The video will show a very very easy way to remove the waterproof casing its jelly like hard to cut neatly so i suggest following the video. video source is from superbrightleds.com

this is a 5M length roll can cut every inch and solder new connection...

Between yesterday evening and this morning I installed my full OME kit solo at home. 884, original nitro shocks, full dakar pack with a 3 degree shim.

I did the Oz squeaky leaf fix on each end of each leaf pack with pond liner rubber.

With a DCLB the 884's lifted my front to 22 5/8" driver side and 22 3/4" pass side. I used the 5mm trim packer. Rear with Dakars (for now) is at 24 7/8" I'm happy with the stance and hope it doesn't sag much. Both Dakar packs were (+)

I was surprised how often I found myself using a hammer, pry bar, and 4x4. Anyway, very happy with it and look forward to taking it for a drive tomorrow. Alignment on Monday.

In the picture it's sitting on 267/70r17 Michelin MS2's and about 200 lbs in the back of the truck.

Thanks. I'm very happy with it but haven't even driven it yet except to pull it out of the garage. Can't wait to put some miles on it and see what kind of improvement it is over stock. I hope the tire shop is able to get me some good alignment numbers.

Used a cheap piece of door threshold, cut and bent it in half and drilled the holes. If you have a UWS tool box, you can drill holes on the inner side of the lid and use rivets without going all the way through. The lid is hollow for insulation.

Well with the spacer you have to figure that your down travel is extended by the height of your spacer which that's what it looks to be.
