Just wanted to start my own buildup of my Toyota Tacoma Regular cab. This was definitely a gem of a find, especially since Toyota has stopped making the Reg Cab. Traded in a 2012 Ford F450 King Ranch for this baby! I must say, I don't miss her at all... this Taco is so much fun to drive, and just so versitile! No... I can't pull the loads that my F450 did, but once this is paid off, with all the positive equity I got outta my F450, I will get another dually.

Anyways, I made the trek all the way up to West Jefferson, NC from Jacksonville, Fl to pick up this Taco. I saw many others out there, but all AUTO and I wanted the 5spd. This thing is definitely a money pit as I have already sunk so much moola into it! Biggest purchase was the Toytec Ultimate lift. Minor things are the Vent Visors and UWS box. On the way mods are BadAss LED headlamps, Gtec's door sill protectors. Future mods off course will be a wheel and tire package to supplement the lift and maybe a Rostra rear camera.

Well, anyways, here are the pics:

    Picking up from dealership.

you have not even scratched the surface of the "money pit mod" but stay on here much longer and that thing will have full LT all and you will look back thinking "well that escalated quickly" :bananadead:

Thanks all!!! Forgot to add that I have done the AFE drop in with the carbon delete... I agree, this things sucks up $$$ like a DYSON! Next big baller purchase is the wheels of course... looking at Moto Metal 967s 18s on a 285 Toyo RT. After that, I have been eyeing the UnderDog blower kit, but I need to do more research. I have not seen anyone on here do it yet (4 banger?) And I wonder what the long term effects are... I won't be racing it, but the extra HPs would help with the bigger tires.

image.jpg Added some BAL LED bulbs and the Nokya fogs... I must say, the LEDs should be BADASS LEDs... I am very pleased with the output of these lights! The are very comparable to HIDs but i dont get flashed at (not yet anyways) it drowns out the fogs, but with the yellow bulbs its more for looks. Installation was really simple with a minor trimming of the rubber boot. Only thing that takes forever is loosening the windshield jug and battery tie down... And the damn bulb clips are so testy!

image.jpg image.jpg Also installed my GTEK protectors! Great quality, super easy, looks great!
