That's a good deal, good luck Jason! I haven't seen you for months BTW.. but I'll find you.. lol
    :spy:

I'm still looking for a black rear bumper that isn't damaged or dented (trade for my chrome?) or if someone with a base 4x4 upgraded to a plate bumper. Also, the TRD aluminum skid plate that isn't damaged or dented. Seems like everybody who had one waited until it was smashed to replace it.

Thanks for looking out man. My budget for rear bumper is exactly $0, though. Trade only for the foreseeable future.

Plastidip the chrome bumper, that's what I did with my old one. It's easy, cost $10 to do, unless you literally mean $0

I can spring for a can of paint but I'd me more adept to use Rustoleum bedliner. Which is an option. Just not sure what prep the chrome needs.

I rustolium bedlined my stock bumper which is sitting in my garage. I took a wire brush and sand paper to the chrome to give it some groves for the bedline to grab onto. Its held up well. The hardest part was taking the bumper off and removing all the plastic

Do you prime with the bedliner spray?! I can sand a lot easier than I can straighten metal.

My bumper was sandblasted and PC'd. I could have sworn I read somewhere that the chrome has a light clearcoat over it. So your best best is to get a sander with some 400 grit and just spend a day sanding the bumper down, then throw some rust prevention primer down and then whatever color you want and then some clear coat,m, making to sand in between coats. To do it right, at least, so it lasts.
