    I did mine about then.
Not a fan of waiting till 100K and find they have become one with the head.
Not that big of an expense to me to swap them out a bit early.

I pretty much change the spark plugs and fuel filter every spring just so I can get them out.

If you're service interval is 100k miles, follow it. Just like if you're interval is 30k miles, follow it.

I will change my 2.7 plugs at 100k when they are due. They are iridium and they last. The 4.0 uses copper plugs and that's why they must be changed more frequently.

Naa, I did use iridium plugs when I did the change.
Just my take from past changes on other vehicles over many many moons.
    I like good plugs.

I always stick with what the manufacturer recommends when it comes to spark plugs, and may other items.

Everybody thought it was great to swap their 3.4 Toyota trucks with iridium and platinum, but turns out the original plug works best.

But that's just like, my opinion, man.

Yea, I told the dealer I'll just take care of it and that I'm going to stick with the guide. I advised them to use this as a teaching experience for their managers, techs, and cashiers.
    1. Check the manual
    2. Don't argue with the customer when hes showing you the manual and you're going off what you know.

A little of this and a little of that.
I agree. Who knows the vehicle better? The manufacturer or some parts dept. employee that might have a GED?

I changed my plugs at 30K.

I see misprints in technical manuals all the time that never get corrected.

If a update is sent out it never gets to where it should be.

I would rather change things out sooner then later in most cases.

Misprints. Well, that's what I was hoping the dealerships could show me...an update to the manual. But they couldn't. It was all hear say. Oh well. I'm sticking with the manual til a better option comes along.
