Won this thing at Rock Therapy this year. Can't wait to get out and use it outside of my backyard.

    Thanks CVT!

I need some help from my fellow Rtt. So headed out for the first time this weekend. And upon packing up I noticed I had condensation on my mattress and floor but only in the middle along the seam. When I got home I took out the mattress and opened the windows to air it out. When I looked at the seam I noticed that my base is curved and only the ends are sitting in the channel. Awhile ago I mentioned it looked like my tent had been backed into something. I straightened out the hinges and all looked good until today. And this is where you guys come in. I need some ideas on how to take the bow out of the base. The bow is probably 3/8 - 1/2?

That bend will be very difficult to remove. If it was up or down it would be as simple as a straight piece of metal, some 2x4's, and a c clamp. Bowed in you're either going to have to disassmble it or tack on some tabs and use a bolt to pull the center out. That said, if the bend is not affecting the stability I would leave it. I would run grab some weather strip foam to seal the gap while open. Something like this http://www.amazon.com/Frost-King-R7...&qid=1433747214&sr=8-2&keywords=weather+strip

Your other option would be to grab a new floor from cvt. They start at $550 though. I would give them a call and see if maybe they replaced one for a customer and maybe the half you need was good or better and you can get it from him for a steal.

Also if you do attempt to straighten yours, dont push or brace against that rib, if that bows out you're SOL

I don't think the bend is as severe as it appears in the photos. There is clearly some "fisheye" going on with the photos. If it were mine I would open up the tent and put something solid underneath that will support a bottle jack. Then use the bottle jack to carefully "lift" the bent area just a little beyond flat since it will settle a bit once the jack is removed.

It should straighten it out. After that it's important to make sure that the tongue and groove of the to base halves are seated properly when the tent is setup in the future. That will keep it from bending. Only other thing I can think of is to lose some weight. :p

It's not a fisheye lense. That's how it bows. It's bowing center to outside and not ground to sky. So the groove is only supported along the 1st 1/4 of each end. This is how the base looks.

well that sucks. The same method could work to fix it but as was mentioned be careful not to smash/bend the lip that fits into the groove.
