Ok guys sorry to bring up something unrelated but I need these parts. 1st GEN guys, could you tell me the bolt size for the steering rack for the C clamp bushing thing on the passenger side. There's the bolt and nut for the top one and the standard bolt for the bottom. Anyone know what size these are? Thanks again

Google says they are 19mm? How long do you think? Maybe lowes would have them?

Lowes would definitely have them. I just used a wrench on mine, not a socket

That's what I did for the driver side and then the middle one, then I had a brain fart and forgot to get the bolts for the pass side. Thanks again. Sorry for stupid questions lol

So you guys really love ford 9" rear axles Huh? Why do people think they're better than running a 2nd gen tundra 9.5 or 10.5? More aftermarket parts?
I don't see how all your electronics would hook up to the axle? I hate hate hate seeing lights on my dash haha

That's one way I guess haha, so will your abs still work in the front?

Unless you get a currie 9'' with fj cruiser outers you won't be able to keep your abs.

    Almost everything
Currie makes the ends to run the tacoma sensors and drums too but if you're doing it, I think the fj brakes would be better

Yeah don't get me wrong I hate abs as much as the next guy haha, I was just curious if the front abs would still work if the rear wasnt connected?

As soon as signal is missing from one sensor the whole abs system shuts down.

Yeah it's all going bye bye, I was planning on upgrading to 2nd gen tundra axle to match +2 long travel but now I'm looking for an option that doesn't cost 1000 bucks and only has available 4.88s...
