Spent the day with my parents and girl friend in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Only got one pic of the rig. Was an overall good day.0607151611.jpg 0607151337c.jpg 0413151659a.jpg

So let me get this straight: You can just pull up and unload your ATV's and ride wherever you want?

You're only allowed to do that in your driveway in my neck of the woods.

South Dakota Chad, not New York. ;)

Few and far between are Black Hills photos that don't have mountain pine beetle damage in them (like 1st pic). Only a matter of time... :(

I just can't even imagine being able to do that. I'd buy a four wheeler in two seconds if that were the case here.

Its a true joy living out here. There's almost nothing that can't be done in the out doors around here.

Cyakker, yes the pine bettle is beyond control here and it does sadden me. We were up near Deerfeild Lake in the Flag Mountian area when I took those pictures. Beautiful day Sunday.

I spent 9 months in Hot Springs and Custer as an LDS (Mormon) missionary back in 2001 and loved it up there! I appreciated seeing these pictures - great memories.

Nice to see another toyota guy on here from the Black Hills. Only a few places in the nation that are like the black hills. Pretty hard to beat.

You just have to buy a offroad tag for the vehicles your driving. From there, you can go where ever the trail leads you.

Great pic. Certainly know where Deerfeild is. Nice place to tour longs got offroad tag and respect the rules of engagement.
Love SD and Rapid City, a great place to visit and live. Been there 5 times.
KB, true NY dont allow it unless you own the land but out west. Yep longs there are trails are made for that. If no trails only horses allow to on it. Also getting permits to use your atv is cheap to go trails. I used to live in Wyo for few yrs.
