Well... got all the IB armor. It's really the only thing I enjoy in the game right now. I wish it were going all the time.

 

I've been having problems with destiny all day mutterfutter keeps kicking me out of ib

 

Only had one game where there was some slight glitching but not enough to effect gameplay. Going to try to hit rank 5 tomorrow. I've built my WL into a fucking killing machine.

 

Damnit that's 2 chest I haven't been able to find tonight before time runs out. That's frustrating. Do all that damn work and get no reward

 

It's no joke. Hell... the 34 was no joke. I'll hold on to the weapon core since I've no use for a fusion rifle (other than my Mythoclasts)

I've been grinding out IB. Don't know why since the last couple days you could level to 5 fast with the token.

 

I also just completed it for the first time last night - what a rush. It kept me up until 2am, and I was about to give up when we beat him. Void damage is my weakest loadout.
I got the ship, shader, emblem, pulse rifle, and Elder Cipher bounty (except that my bounties were full so I have to kill him again...)

 

Haven't done the 35 this week. What does it entail? I've got maxed out void, arc, fire damage weapons of each type.

Oh hell... who am I kidding... I'll be doing IB until I hit rank 5 I want that scout rifle.

 

Rounds 1-3 were easy, I was with 2 34's I didn't know and we breezed through them

Round 1: Hive - Morbid & Brawler
Round 2: Vex - Grounded & Airborne
Round 3: Cabal - Catapult & Angry​

Round 4 was challenging, we had to kill the VIP who was easy, but all the adds were not

Round 4: Fallen - Specialist & Juggler​

Round 5 we two-manned. It took a while but we hid out behind the pipe in the far right from the door you enter through and took him down over time.

Round 5: Fallen Boss - Trickle & Small Arms​

Skolas: Void Damage
For Skolas it is a huge help to have a titan with Weapons of Light, everyone using word of crota, a high impact void sniper, and a stable void machine gun like an asscended Corrective Measure. On entry, roll to the left and take down the first invisible guy. Titan (with Helm of Saint14) drops bubble in front of door so adds are blinded on entry. All three of you step in & out of the bubble sniping Skolas, and when you're out of sniper ammo hit him with the machine gun. He should be nearly dead by the time the first mine appears. It turns to chaos them, but as long as you're passing the poison back & forth, taking down the mines as they appear, and shooting him in-between, he shouldn't last much longer than the initial onslaught.

Cool man. Thanks for the write up. Did the 34 yesterday and it wasn't too bad. GH's helped a lot and burned him down pretty quick. Then it was just kill the objective before he reached the point. Couple more GH's for him and it was over. I heard last weeks 34 was pretty tough but I didn't get a chance to do it.

 

Should I get the Titan helmet or the scout rifle from xur? Only have enough for one or the other. I don't use defender and i regularly run an exotic sniper rifle

so there's a third expansion pack rumored for later this year?

 

Helm of Saint-14 is a game changer. I is so fun to blind stuff, both in PVE and PVP. I would pick this over MIDA for sure. I still use MIDA every once in a while when I want to max agility (like jumping the wall in the Abyss section of CE), but that's about it. Helm of Saint-14 is always worn.

^But playing defender is my favorite character, so take that with a grain of salt. If you don't use your titan much you might get more use from MIDA.

 

Honestly man... I didn't run defender for the longest time but now that's all I run. Multi tool is a great scout rifle but if you're running with a exotic sniper then I "personally" level up the defender. Striker is best suited for pvp.

 

Finished IB earlier today. Got the Scout Rifle which is pretty damn awesome. No need to reforge. Might have made a mistake but went on and put the Etheric Light on it and it hits like a fucking truck.

 

Damn! I feel like a rookie reading all this.
Once I get a real internet connection I hope to be back one the game full time. Wireless just doesn't cut it.
