Baja fenders in car wash?

I have fiberglass front baja fenders on my rig. The local gas station uses the soft rolling "bristles" for lack of better words on their car wash. If I can fit through, which I should be able to, is my truck as safe as the usual truck in there?

Think I'd hand wash, better than getting out of the truck at the car wash and throwing your torn off fender into the bed.

 

Lol. I'm just trying to loosen off the months worth of dirt that its been through so I have less to wash by hand.
