On my bumper. That length is fine, actually a bit long from the relay to the lights. It's the relay to the switch that's short.

yeah don't know why they don't lengthen that... we have a shallow dash in the 1st gens, and it's too short to put on a switch anywhere but the left of the steering wheel and that's only if you run it down the drivers side, good luck running it down the passenger side (where I want to mount my fuse box)

And I found it weird they're not compatable with daystar switches. It may have reached better if I mounted the relay on the inside of the truck but there was no way it was going to fit through the firewall. So it's mounted just outside the hole.

Finally got my Ballistic fab t-case parking brake dialed in.

I beefed up the 3/16 "C" that holds the caliper and made a new arm to work with the stock linkage and upsized the 1/4" rod ends to 5/16 with SS all thread. So far so good, minimal noise and holds well.

    alot still need done
Saturday I did a oil change and was hoping for a air filter change but the fram tough guard filter I got was dripping oil. So took it back and looking at some others. Would like a washable one. I don't like K&N ones though, has to much space for dirt to go through.

    How are AFE filters?

It's not, Ballistic made them 2006ish and had some issues with the design. I picked up the kit used and made some changes to fit my truck.

you could try feeding from the inside to the engine bay and keep the relay inside, rather than the other way around... then you only have to fit the two plugs for the lights and the ring terminals for the pos and neg.
