    Looks great!

    Especially considering your payload there.

Yea the airbags do a great job with the payload, I'm really enjoying them!

Hey Boys! I am going to be swapping out my base suspension for trd suspension. Any tips that can help me make it go smooth? Also how long does this type of process take? I dont have air tools and kind of understand what needs to be done

It took about an hour to swap my fronts out. Pull the sway bar links off both sides and you can get the sway bar out of the way. I also removed the bolts that hold the brake line brackets and the upper ball joint.

But I was putting in longer suspension that was larger in diameter so it was a bit more tough. Basic hand tools is all you'll need.

I wonder if I should remove my sway bar. I was thinking I would once I went to bigger better suspension but I am sticking with stock trd suspension

I'd leave it. The stock TRD suspension is a very small upgrade over the base stuff.

You think it would be worth it to swap out to a TRD sway bar if you were putting a lift on anyways?

I only ask because I recently found out the TRD front sway is a smaller diameter to I guess allow a little more flex.

Has anyone here with a prerunner install 5100's? What setting would you recommend to level a truck with tsb springs. Did u get the lift as advertised?

1.75 seems like the way to go, just worried I'm going to get more lift then that seeing as my truck is significantly lighter than a v6 4x4.

Now that you mention that I am surprised there isn't a PreRunner lift thread. Maybe there is, I'll admit I haven't searched for it. :crapstorm:

Mainly because I have a 4x4. It would make a good reference for you guys running lifts and bumpers and such with vastly differing weights
    to you front ends.

I believe you set them at 0 and it levels the front end... I believe. I am sure the bilstien sight may show you what setting should give you what height. And yea you would have a lot less weight.

Yah I'm just curious if a prerunner 4cyl ac used 5100s. I understand billstein has avg heights listed, I'm just curious how much above avg I would be if I lifted. I guess I could always play it safe and set it at .85 and hope for a bit more.

I would if it were me,
You don't want stock height so give it a try.

If you can try and get a picture before and after so the rest of us can see what the. 85 looks like, it may help someone down the road too.

Can I assume that ride rites are airbags? If so, I am interested in the set up. I just acquired a 2000 lb boat and trailer and what with all the firewood and gravel I have hauled, my leaves are a bit on the weak side.

    Turn of events, lol...

Turns out the color ordered was white not silver. They are going to try and change it back for me, I've been thinking maybe I'd be pleasantly surprised with white? I am on my fifth silver vehicle, and this is my second silver Tacoma. Maybe Super White is where it's at!

I've always loved the white yotas with white expedition type wheels. :D

I dig the storm trooper taco. What package did you get? Base, SR, or SR5?

I do like the new silver though, looks different than the ones they made about 5 years ago.

Ordered up the base model but with Utility Package and then added convenience also.

Looks like it may be back to silver, I am ok with either, can work with both.

I love the idea of storage only space behind the seats and with the credit the Utility Package brings adding the comv package gets me the keyless entry I miss a lot from my Honda/Acura days, and added sliding rear window, cruise, and leather steering wheel and such. It's still almost a 300 credit towards MSRP because the Utility package credit is around 1440.

Anyways, I can't wait to see it and get it home and start making mine.

    Pics will come eventually...

Don't think I could deal without a back seat in the access cab. I've had 2 passengers in my truck a few times now. Sure the back seat sucks, but at least it's there if needed. Haven't had 3 passengers yet, but in sure it will happen at some point.
