I highly doubt that seeing as how a second gen 4x4 v6 manual with full long travel hasn't sold for that same price and it has almost the exact same miles

 

Bigger market for un molested trucks tho

 

Yeah not a lot of people who are looking for a truck want it fully built. Even people who have that as an end goal want to do it themselves. Best option would be return it to stock and sell parts.

I contacted CVT and they have a couple of dealers in LA. Just contacted CVT directly with my order and they contacted the nearest dealer to me. Bobby is awesome

 

yeah i picked up a clean little 97 5lug AC cab with 140k for 5k when KBB is 3800 on them. He was originally asking 6800 . The interior and exterior are in great shape so i do ever sell, i dont think ill lose to much.

 

Yup.... i ALMOST bought an 02 4x4 base access cab v6 auto with 180k miles for 13k out the door.... then i realized, wtf was i doing, spent an extra 20k and bought a new one haha.

 

Well it was funny, i drove all the way to SLO to take a look at the 02 with 180k... showed up and it had TRD badging, but didnt have a locker, owner claimed the previous owner (an old guy who used them as ranch trucks) put the sticker on... riiiiiight. Then i put it in 4wd (properly) and the transfer case grinded gears so bad i was like... ya nope.

Driving home i stopped at ventura toyota to look at a used 08 with 80kmiles.... they wanted 30K for it! I said i want the new one out front that checked off every box of my wants.... I figure you loose about 1k in depreciation a year on any tacoma no matter what you buy, new or used.
