Yeah, he walked all over most obstacles there...
Pretty cool build, driveway fab over a few months. Not everyday you see an SAS exploder!

He also bottomed out his front shock in that pic. Gotta adjust the bumps

Ive got nothin on that exploder... But, then again, I am comfortable and safe in my warrantied and factory lift. She has taken me all sorts of places already. 9k on her to date. I just need better tyres.

Thats out near Cromwell lake/Mammoth Mountain/Mono Lake/Inyo National Forest. Great place to just explore the roads and see where they take you, i.e. hot springs and beer ftmfw!

The 5.7 is actually pretty fast. I would get pulled over too.

Yea it is. I got to jump on it a bit during the test drive and I was VERY impressed. I can't imagine an SC'd 5.7

5.7 SC'd would probably get around 9-10mpg. The regular 5.7 gets about 12 combined, so I imagine a SC with lift, tires, and heavy bumpers would be painful at the pump. But, it would be fast as hell.

So Maaco won't touch the plastic bumper I have. They said its for base models only and its not meant to be painted. I said its meant to be painted since it's got the fender flare holes and they just need to prep it right and use some adhesion promoter, but they wouldn't touch it, "that's textured plastic, its unpaintable". So i guess I'm doing it myself! yay.
