    I finally finished this abstract painting I started like a year ago.. I have a problem with starting paintings and never finishing them lol Working on that. This was the first time I had ever drawn a dog! Hard to get her goofy characteristics and personality into but I tried! Also disregard the blue streaks, that is because my phone is retarded. I have dropped it too many times!

    I made a book shelf for my son's room. We bought him a new bunk bed and dresser last week and ended up with no space left over for his old one. I came up with mounting it on the wall and turning the books face out because the ladder only leaves about a 5" gap from the wall and building it this way made use of an otherwise wasted space. He can reach all of the books by climbing the ladder. It was made out of 1"x 4" red oak and stained to the best of my ability match his bed and clear satin polyurethane coated for protection.

    Thanks Scott! Might sound silly for such a simple project, but I am really proud of it. I was really worried about the color being off, for some reason in the garage lighting it almost looked like it had a purple tint to it but in his room it's close enough lol.

    I agree man that book shelf came out looking really cool. It's always fun making things and then taking a step back and looking at your work and going "dang that looks good, I'm proud of that"


    On another note, I don't know if I so much made it, more like my wife made it, but I helped a little bit. 4 days old! She's gonna have daddy wrapped around her little finger.

    That's so awesome dude!! I know I've only been a dad for 4 days now but I feel the same way already. Even if it's for a trip to Home Depot really quickly or something, I can't take my mind off my little girl at home haha!! I just wanna be cuddling her or looking at her

    The other day my son and I went to the store (he's almost 3), I said "I love you, bud". He said "I love you daddy."
    That was the first time he has said it like that. :)
