HAHA! You just had to look didn't you? :D:D

For those that have installed the fumoto oil drain valve ...did you get the F103 (correct part number I assume) with or without the nipple?

It is. According to this site: http://www.quickoildrainvalve.com/ you can order either. The only advantage I see is being able to attach a hose and route the oil directly into a container - no mess. Probably more of a hassle than it's worth.

I have the valve with the nipple, you really don't need it. The oil drains straight out of the bottom, no real need to run a tube somewhere else to collect the oil.

I got the shorty and don't see a problem, but have not changed the oil since the install.
Must note the one with the nipple would still be above the skid plate by a good 1.5".
The hardest part of the install was trying to find the hose clamp they recomend as a safe guard. They don't make those anymore.

Mods? What's a mod? Bone stock, baby. Well, okay. Maybe a few smallish mods. If you count a locking gas cap, coin holder and a behind-the-seat trash bag.
I ordered some 5/8" stainless steel hose clamps from McMaster-Carr [ http://www.mcmaster.com/ ]. If they don't have what you're looking for than either (1) you don't need it, or (2) it doesn't exist anywhere on the planet.

The P/N is 5324K44. They only come in packs of 25, so I'll have about 20 left over. If you or anyone else wants one gratis, then email me your street address and I'll mail you one. My email address is in my public profile. The clamps should be here in a week or so. I'll edit this post if I run out.

Thanks for the offer and the link. I called around locally at auto accessory, and even plumbing supply shops with no luck.

A hot rod builder buddy had a few to spare so I'm set.

Thanks Turboniun for sending the clamp out to me, it arrived this am.

I mod'd the valve with 2 cross slots to allow better drainage, if you make this mod, your slots only need to be 3/16 deep (.1875"), I cut mine deeper than I should have ( .210" ) .

The oil pan and valve are way above the cross member, no worries breaking that thing off...
