    I read a different article stating that you can now open carry in public parks and libraries. Schools, colleges, and universities are still prohibited. Does that mean you can open carry without a ccw? Or do you still need to have a ccw to carry in public, concealed or open.

    You've never needed a CCW to open carry nor do you need it now but yes counties, political subdivisions and cities will not be able to regulate carrying, possession etc.

    No, I'm not a member on there. I never really cared to open carry due to the attention it brings but I don't have my ccw yet. I wonder if the ccw course will change now unless it's no longer required like in AZ.

    I don't want to open carry just because of all the attention it can get. I'd rather carry concealed and not have anyone know it but me.

    I know this is coming from somebody in California but I look at it like this the cowboys never concealed their shit and had a mutual understanding about it, so why should we unless we want to. :notsure::oldglory:

    Sort of. I have been OC here in Vegas since at least 2006. I have never been attacked. Carried on the strip, freemont street, and all over town going about my biz. I dont care how a person carries just carry.
