I've done a bit of searching and decided to post a new thread for my AC issues.

My AC stopped working. I have a lifetime alignment at Firestone so I took it there. While there I used a $10 HVAC system diagnostic coupon. They said the system is charged, the clutch is okay and all the fuses are good. They said there is no power going to the compressor/AC system. Their best guess is that it's a faulty switch somewhere and it's an electrical issue. This is something they do not work on. When I turn the AC on in the cab the light on the switch illuminates. I have a 2003 3.4L V6. Prior to this the AC was like a refrigerator. I temped it at 52 degrees at the vent. Now there is no change in temperature. Also, just prior to this I had the dash apart to install a switch panel. I'm not sure if I might have pulled something loose, however after checking yesterday all appears to be okay and intact.

What further steps could I do to trouble shoot this? It's getting hot out.

what is this switch panel you installed? and did you have to mess with any wiring to install it?

also did you check the fuses under the hood as well as the dash?

im not sure about our trucks but I assume they are the same, the camry has a relay in the fuse box under the hood and that relay is what turns on the compressor so maybe its bad

4Runner Trail wheels and Toyo Open Country ATII tires 265-70-17. Cosmetic stuff like Pro grille and OffRoad black bumper trim, vinyl delete on side, added hood graphic, OEM tube steps.
I would go to the evap case and bypass the thermistor and the pressure cutoff switches one at a time by disconnecting each connector and jumping across the harness side. If the compressor engages, you have found your culprit. Each will prevent compressor engagement if faulty. You could also have an a/c compressor relay problem.

It's the paranoid switch panel below the radio. The only wires connected to anything under the dash go to the dimmer circuit to light the switches. The rest are wired either to relays, directly to the battery or to the accessory circuit.

The plug on the right was a little loose.
