    Hello,

My name is Tim Esterdahl and I'm a freelance journalist. I'm currently working on a story for Pickuptrucks.com and I'd like to interview a new Tacoma owner. This owner would ideally be someone who lives in the LA, Houston or Dallas area and cross-shopped the Tacoma with the Colorado/Canyon. If this is you, please contact me ASAP.

    Thanks for reading.

I thought so but the other two locations made me wonder. I might be able to help you. I bought my 2015 Labor Day weekend 2014. No Canyons to compare to then...

    Darn!

I'm really looking for someone who had to choose between the two and for that person to shed light onto their buying decision.

Did you not wait because of a prior issue with GM or did you look over the new Canyon features/options first?

Sorry for all the questions! I just need to find the right person.

UGH! So close. The sales data I have is for Los Angeles though. I need to stick with that part of California.

I use to own Chevy and would go back for the right truck in a heart beat! A new model year is never the right truck for me! I wish the Tacoma had more of the creature comforts they put into the Canyon/Colorado... Having said that I didn't really want an all new re-designed 2016 Tacoma either. I think I got the right truck at the right time. Things I would have liked to have include; Auto Power up/down windows, Outside temp and compass in the mirror, power adjustable seats, electric defrost side mirrors, locking tailgate.... Some of these I have done and some I am in the process of doing, others I will live with out. In the end the Tacoma has a long history of proven quality in the market and will stand up for years to come and likely will hold a lot if not all of it's value.

Sweet, I'll email you in a minute. I've got kids at home, so the phone isn't always the best option. Darn kids!
