    Hello All,

Just putting out a feeler to see if there is anyone in the southeast interested in trading their steel plate bumper for my aluminum plate bumper. The bumper is made by SOS Concepts. The main bumper is aluminum and the hoops are steel and bolted on. It weights about 45 lbs total. Love the bumper but I have a little bit too much lift up front and instead of tearing the front end down again to remove the spacer, thought I would put a heavier bumper on to weigh it down. May also be interested in selling if the price is right.

Nice truck man! Surprised I never see it around Hendo. I got a steel bumper but I kinda like it
    Good luck though.

Why not cut out a hole for a fairlead and install a winch? Keep the aluminum bumper and add the weight in a functional manner.

Thanks man, you too! I'll keep an eye out for you.

    Meet halfway!? lol

That's an option i considered as well; however, not trying to spend the cash on a winch right now.

Understandable. FWIW, Harbor Freight has their 12,000lb winch on sale right now at only $299. It's rated very highly and that's by people saying it was a bargain at their $399 sale price. I'm not in the market for a $1k winch either but for $300ish I'm all in. Going to install it this week and I'm in a similar situation where my front end us about level or slightly higher than the rear and I imagine that popping this into the plate bumper will make it sit perfect plus I now have a winch which will come in handy to have.

^^ look forward to seeing it, I have been checking winch's out since installing my bumper but like you I don't use it enough to need a $1000 winch. But it would be nice to have one if it's ever needed.

If you still have the bumper around the middle of July I will be in Ashville for a wedding if you are interested in a bodyarmor4x4 front bumper.

    Probably around $750

I' hope to work something out in the next couple of weeks, or I'll probably just end up removing the top plate spacer by then, before I drive to Colorado in July.

That's pretty much the same bumper as mine, but with a winch cut-out right?

Yup this was the first plate 1 made. It's got holes in the top of the cradle for a 20in light bar as well
