Looks good! Love how the Demello Offroad sliders angle up and don't stick out too far. Waiting patiently for mine.

I'm halfway done install. The directions you sent me are for the wrong model of sliders lol. It took me about an hour to figure out the right way to reroute the brake lines but other than that, and the :frusty: drill bits wearing out trying to drill the frame, things have worked out great. The powder coat made it to Canada in one piece too!

Hoping it wont be that hard for the 1st gens. Heard drilling the frame is a pain. What kind of drill are you using?

I was using my 18v Makita, but it overheated the battery in about 3 minutes with a Cobalt drill bit. I switched to a corded Black and Decker Heavy Drill and that did the trick but wore out the bit after drilling 4 holes. Tonight I'll be back at it with the Black and Decker and a high speed steel bit I'm sure.

Trust me we know how you feel. We went through a couple ourselves yesterday. Do you know about the floor jack trick? We went and got some new ones this morning. Enjoy your new sliders and thanks for your order.

Floor jack trick? Enlighten me, the last time I drilled frames was with a drill built for doing it that won't fit under a Tacoma. It was built for heavy trucks.

Are you using any type of lube before drilling?

I used some weasel piss (WD40) but since I'm doing it upside down it's not easy to use anything else.

If you are using them as just a step 100% bolt on is fine. If you are using them as a slider we recommend you drill three holes on each side for extra strength.
