Yes. I kinda poked it and just twisted the tooth pick and it pulled it in away from letters like a black whole lol. And peel when last coat is still sticky so it grabs tooth pick better

    Yes.
As far as I can tell the differences across the three is primarily cosmetic. Basic (what I got) are all black struts, with zinc coated hardware (mounts on the inner fender and under hood)

mid tier are the same struts, with black coated hardware.

Top tier are stainless bodied struts, with black hardware.

Its low 90s here and i was doing 1 coat on 1 wheel then doing other by time i was done with second, first was dry. I found it to be a PITA to get inner angles on the spokes. And where lugs go so i just put it on kinda heavy in those spots. And i chose to exclude the center caps when i put the wheels back on, looks better. .. yes TXTaco13 i use run on sentences aswell. Lol

I purchased the elite 4 years ago and they are groaning and moaning. They make all sorts of noise and they are nowhere near as smooth as they once were. I contacted their customer support and they blew me off. Don't waste your money on the high end struts. I could crap in a box and mark it guaranteed and be no better off.

Lars are your lugnuts the ones that have a washer and also have a neck almost that slides into lug hole? If so finger tighten them all using a socket and extension otherwise you will probably tear your dip around lugs. The washer sticks to the dip and then when you torq em down the lug will spin and washer maintains its original position.

finished repairing towing harness and placing it in the Bumper instead of hanging, Now my running lights work on my new trailer, traced wiring to all points and the running lights would never work, all fuses good, all relays good, finally gave up and patched a wire to plate lights.

Ground was first thing I checked, every single wire in the harness worked when toning against the ground except running lights. as soon as I started testing the green wire outside of the trailer harness I finally got a tone, started working my way back into the trailer harness and it stopped, other than stripping off all the protection around the wires (which was in excellent condition) I ran out of ideas, this seemed easier than doing that, I would have thought it was the plug except I lost tone as soon as I hit the split (before making to the plug). Toyota said truck came with factory Towing package. Only other thing I could think of was the big relay behind the dash and adding a piece of wire seemed cheaper than $100 relay I might not have needed OR a $100 service call that proved to show nothing. I will use this as a work around until after I replace my leaf springs, then I will take to have it serviced and checked since I have extended warranty. I didn't know what else to do as I had done everything every forum post said and it all passed with no joy on running lights.

I will add, I would rather have it done correctly, but being I did all the TS and ended up where I started I figured this would work until I get the $$$ to throw away on a service call (if i do it), I have read threads where Toyota techs spent hours troubleshooting others harnesses and at $75+ per flag hour this seemed the most cost effective route. If anybody has input on what else to check I am all ears.
