    That rear bumper is the same as mine. He is the one that designed it and he had a handful of 'kits' made for a few of us local guys that we welded up on our own.

    Same basic shit everybody else had 5 years ago.
    Iron Pig Offroad up in Fredericksburg has tons of LC experience and fabs a lot of custom stuff for LC's including bumpers. They did some stuff on my truck but they are LC guys first and foremost. Just throwing it out there.

    Congrats on the new rig, it's nice to see something a little different.

    I like some of the Iron Pig stuff and the fact that they're closer to you VA guys is a plus but personally I think there are better bumper options than their standard 80 series one.

    the 4x4 Labs one is one of the nicest ones I've seen for the 80s that is built for playing in the rocks. The departure angles on it are really good compared to most other ones.

    Not practical for everyone, but the YODATEQ gull wing hatch system is an awesome idea. I have seen a few front bumpers too that are nice and low profile, not as big as the ARB that are nice.

    I agree that the YOTATEQ gullwings are a cool idea. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to reach anything inside the truck if the truck has much of a lift on it. If you have items close to the opening it's not bad, but beyond that it's hard to reach stuff. I was looking at a set on a guys truck at Cruise Moab and they're definitely cool. I just need to be about a foot taller. :p

    Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
    Okay all good info. Fredericksburg is only a couple hours from me. I like the 4x4 labs rear bumper and will likely do that as a DIY kit and do an ARB front since I like the amount of protection and the fact that it is quality stuff. I had seen the mods you did to yours Adam but not sure if it is worth doing to a new ARB...maybe when mine gets to be old and the finish is messed up I'll do that little lift on the sides.

    Thanks for all these inputs. This shits gonna be nice since I have all this expertise hovering around in here.

    Zach give me a call whenever you get a chance please.

    Speaking of Yotateq panels...they are expensive! I was thinking about having a set of fixed aluminum panels made and then adding a Molle panel to it inside so I could have that kind fo storage but fixed since Adam is dead on about how high up those would be with a lift and some tires...if they swung out I would have to think hard about that price tag...

    IPOR has a decent website and sells tons of other parts and random LC stuff. Again, just throwing it out.

    I would be the difficult client and Insist that they find a way to keep the AHC.. Theoretically speaking... It's possible...

    I just checked out IPOR...I like their skid plate but that rear bumper is a non starter for me...and even they are using the 4x4 labs swingout on their own bumper... I'm just going to save the money and order a 4x4 labs diy kit. I'm sure I'll be happy going that route!

    @Box Rocket

    what other front bumper options would you recommend? I'm not totally set on ARB but the Slee isn't calling my name either and it looks like many are homemade which is cool but I would rather just have an ARB vice a home brew.
