We probably all have a little taco lean and trueline won't align it with any lean. Two trips to the shop and truck still doesn't drive straight.

I liked Car Toys on Aurora. The techs seemed to really be into their jobs. In Issaquah they don't give a shit. AND they chipped the very corner of my windshield while installing an antenna mount and now it's a 8 inch long crack. They said it would take a week to process that through corporate.

Well damn... back to the drawing board, I was planning on going there once my lift was finished up. True Line sounded like the most legit alignment shop in our area. It's a shame we don't have a specialty shop that knows how to properly setup our rigs. Let me know what you find, if anything.

Im going to diesel dynamics in Snohomish on Friday.. DavidPick highly recommends them so I thought i'd give them a try. Terrible diesel mechanics but a completely seperate guy does the alignments.

I went to Firestone and got the lifetime alignment, found a coupon online which cut the price about 20%. Mule Expedition Offroad recommended Goodyear in Issaquah to me.

I get my vehicle aligned after any long offroad expedition... Firestone is that only way I am able to afford that.

That said, not all firestones are created equal.

The one in Bellevue off of 140th has been great to me. The guy at the counter (think he's the manager) is a big tool, but the alignment guys seem to do good work. Will add/remove caster if I ask them to.

The one in Renton off of 4th SUCKS and I am pretty sure stole my winch hook from me. They told me my caster cannot be adjusted. Righto.

As I said a few posts ago... I can literally take both hands off the wheel at 80 and track straight down the road. No shakes at any speed.

Yeah I saw that it has no front skid too. That would be terrible. Also trying to mod it and put a real lift on later would suck im sure.

Cost you more in the long run if you got with with any DB lift. The ONLY DB lift I have heard people say is worth it is the 4.5" RCD lift but I still wouldn't.

Don't take your anything to Car Toys, anywhere. When you pay people on commission, expect them to be butchers and to know very little.

I fiddle with the front end too much as well.

Mine in west Oly is scared of my wheel spacers.
They also like to scratch the hell out of my tie rods with their pipe wrenches, which makes no sense to me since I can adjust them with a set of open ended wrenches just fine. I hate butchers, but they are still the best gig in town :(

I've never seen a DB lift that has a skid, so it's not surprising.
The stock tin brush plate only comes with TRD trim, and the owner would have either tossed it or would have had to cut it to fit as well.

Hey everyone, been lurking around for a bit but haven't posted in here. I've got a TRD air filter for a 2nd gen that I'll give away for free to someone local. Got it from a neighbor for free when he sold his Tacoma. Needs to be cleaned and oiled but nothing wrong with it. I work in Bellevue and live in Enumclaw so I can meet in either city or anywhere in-between.
