    Hmm that's an idea. Yes the spacers suck dick. The ball joints aren't really old per se... Had them for about a year. It used to allign well, but this moab trip effed them.

    Easy way to test is to disconnect the arm from the spindle, then try moving the joint with your hand. They should be tight enough that you can barely move it with your hand, if at all. When mine was ready for replacement, it flopped around just by me tapping it with a finger.

    ^truth. I have had the Firestone Lifetime Alignment for 25+ years on all of my vehicles. I usually go to the one 15 minutes from my house and get it checked when I get my oil changed. Most of the time it hasn't been a problem. Once they said they couldn't do it because my steering rack was worn out and wanted $750 to replace it. I went to a different Firestone, and they aligned it with no problem. That was a couple years ago, and it hasn't been mentioned again in any subsequent alignment. It just depends on the alignment tech of the day I guess.
