Shopping around now. Have a quote for a 2015 DCSB OR 4x4 in white. MSRP is $34,895 they are telling me $33,477 plus taxes and fees comes to $36,756. There was another dealer a couple hundred lower. In thinking I might have to leave town for a deal when I see some prices paid here

I would definitely shop around or try negotiating a little bit more. I got my long bed 4x4 trd sport with the trd exhaust and trd pro 4runner wheels for $33,500 before tax title and fees. You should be able to get yours for $32,500 easy.

I would like $3/k even before fees but I don't know if they will go that far below msrp around here. I did go to Carnac last night and I was expecting them to offer me around $4,500 for this Chrysler I'm dumping but they offered $6k so it won't be too bad if they don't go to 32

Im fairly certain the invoice price on that truck is about $30,900 without any extras. Where do you live? What I did is went to a local credit union and got pre approved for a loan at 2.99%. I then went to the dealer and told him exactly what I wanted and asked him how much. We sat down at his desk and he came back with a number that was like below the window sticker but not what I wanted. I basically said there was no way I could do it for that much and if he brought it down to the price I wanted, I would buy it that day. He went and spoke with his manager and came back saying it would work. I then told him that I was pre approved for a loan at 2.99% and he asked me if i would use their financing if he could beat the 2.99%. I said of course, and 5 minutes later he came back with a 2.49% loan for 72 months. I suggest waiting until near the end of the month and go in on a bad weather day. Be nice, but don't be a pushover. Come in prepared and confident you can get a great price and drive away happy in your new truck. Just my .02, take it or leave it. Good luck.

I'm in Las Vegas. I have tried getting quotes in the past and these dealers here don't seem to want to budge much more on any occasion. They are now down to $32,400 though

Once you leave they know you are shopping around. Do as McCallywood suggested and get pre-approved. Then walk in and tell them you want to make an offer, you don't even want to drive it. Offer them $31K (as you hope for $32 if I recall correctly), bring a print-out of KBB value for your vehicle and tell them you want the average shown. Also bring a copy of edmunds true value for the tacoma, even if you don't use it they will know that you did your research and are prepared. When you walk in with this demand they only have one shot to sell it to you. They will either say no and you are in the same place you were, or as I suspect they will, they will tell you that that is an aggressive deal, then ask if you will do the deal right then and there. Be prepared to sign, and of course be polite. You may have to accept a counter offer but I bet you will be closer to the $32k/$6k that you are looking for. Also, someone else posted earlier that what seems to be the lowest sale price they will go is 12% off MSRP and most of what I've tracked has found that to be true. Lastly, always offer up to finance through them, just not for more than you can find elsewhere, its residual profit for them so its better than the $400 or whatever they are going to make on the truck. Tundras are currently at 0.9% and they didn't even blink when I said I wanted 1.9% on the tacoma (depending on your credit though).

    good luck

They came down to $32,400 for 2015 DCSB off road package with entune premium with navigation. skid plate, window tint, wheel locks. Not the best price in the country but considering other local options and getting $2k more for my trade then I was expecting, I'm satisfied with the deal.

Well I just put a deposit down for a Super White 2015 DCLB TRD Sport 4x4 and have it for $32,100 not including a possible rebate. Can't wait til it gets to the dealer! Probably gonna miss the space of my current f250 until I adjust, but the reliability of the taco can't be matched.

I got raped on mine but it was my own fault because I have an ocd of when I want something I get it.
That being said, I had a 2013 Civic I bought new in 2014 and 3 months later I traded it for my 2015 double cab short bed TRD Off Road 4x4.
The end result for my shenanigans was a grand total of $37,000!

Oh well, that's why I work my ass off doing southern swing shift, 7 day work weeks mostly 8 hour days but a lot of 12 and 16 hours and in 125 degree heat.
