    Hey guys,

    I have been MIA the last few days. If any of you saw two Ryder rental trucks running tandem around town and the state of Arizona, you probably saw me. Drove over 1700 miles in two days. We were in Ajo, Tucson, Flagstaff, Holbrook, Showlow, Globe, Gilbert, Mesa, friken everywhere. Saw a few sweet Tacomas out there.

    My exact reasoning.

    Unless your going to live at home with your parents while you save, saving to 20% while renting is a waste of time and money.


    for what its worth, i moved home with my parents instead of renting, just to save up my 20%. because renting is a dam waste of money.

    And then i met my girlfriend who already has a house in her name, problem solved.

    but not everyone can just move home with your parents and save living rent-free.
    if you must pay to live somewhere, IMO its better to buy faster and not save the 20% and pay some mortgage insurance instead of paying someone elses entire mortgage.

    my .02.

    Yes i work in mortgage and have my entire life.

    i realize everyone has their own opinion, and this is mine.

    just like assholes :D
