    Morning all. Got to watch some old guy almost get himself and his wife killed this morning. Rolled through a stop sign and putzed out out across four lanes of traffic like he was out on a Sunday drive. Brake lights and horns everywhere. I was far enough back that I had a spectator's viewpoint, but it was one of those instances where you know exactly what he's going to do before he even starts.

    Jealous too. Though I don't even have anything as fancy as a penn. I rarely surfcast anyways, the majority of my saltwater fishing is from my kayak. I have a few cheap shakespear and Abu Garcia setups depending on what 'm fishing for/ weight of tackle i'm using. For me the probability of me dropping the rod/ reel into the drink by accident negatates my want for a nicer setup.
