    I wonder if we contact Nitro Gear or ECGS if the can bring a trailer to fix broken diffs. I know Nitro has a mobile shop essentially. I think they tow it with a JK

    So every year I upgrade something that broke or something that I know is a weak link. This year my upgrade was the 8,000# warn winch to a10,000# warn, and then the suck down winch it's now a 3,500# winch when it was a 2,500#

    Lol that's what I said after I kept blowing up axles in my front FJ80 hybrid axle and rear thirds. Broke 12 of those.

    I can't really complain. This diff has almost 250k with 3 years of Moab, multiple CO trail, and it broke after i got back in Denver instead of at Moab.

    I'm still going to complain though.

    Everything I said about being immune to those noseeums was a lie. They were letting me have a false sense of security so they could cripple me with THIRTY EIGHT BITES! Showed up out of no where yesterday more than a week AFTER i got back! What kind of foul creature has a delayed reaction to its own spit! Anyway, I'm crazy itchy now. And these little buggers ooze! Never seen anything like it!

    Oh good idea. I was racking my brain yesterday on when I walked into what was apparently a swarm of mosquitos withiut realizing it, then I looked up those noseeums and it said the bites could lay dormant up to a week! Seriously?! Devil creatures!

    WTF diff row started at my camp. Maybe they saw tons and just broke because of that?

    millions of years ago some of them evolved into things I like to call bar flies they seem all nice at first but let them into your life and you'll be iching for weeks

Give them a really close shave & then a rub down with 92% isopropyl alcohol. An 8 on the 10 scale of pain, but only for a few minutes. Like that old guy in the commercial said, "If it's burnin', it's workin'." Mine haven't itched since I did that & they are all healing nicely. :yes:

    Happened tuesday evening on the drive home from work. Accelerated from a stop light and heard a nice pop. Now it sounds like a train going down the tracks.
