First thing I would do is go to the DLNR website and register your truck so you can get your pass to go into Kaena point.
0% tint won't pass, front doors gotta be max 35%. Get some places that will pass for safety, but those are far and few.

    Welcome to the islands.

I swear ive seen people driving around here with 0%. There has to be a way. My truck already has it, and it will be so depressing to have to take it off and put 35%....
And what about any meets, any coming up for 4th of July?

people who running 0% have hook-ups friend of a friend type of deal. but the hassle and the cost isnt worth it anymore. not sure what the tint tickets cost are now days i remember it being $295 per window. 600 bucks worth of tickets and its not a Fix it type ticket like on the mainland. so your best off just getting 35% tint front two windows only. the back and rear you can leave 0%.

is your truck lifted? if it is then your also going to need to get Recon

Those who have darker than allowed tint usually have someplace they can go to pass safety. Some would go as far as rip off the tint, get the safety check, then re-tint.

As for any meets coming up, nothing really planned yet. Might have a overnighter sometime in August. As for July 4, nothing planned.

When were you planning on going? I might be able to go for a little while depending on what my fam wants to do that day.

    ^^^lol!

Man I still havent signed up for Kaena yet. One of these days I'll do it.

And the guys out here only go down to 5%. I don't think anyone sells 0%. I could be wrong though. But it's definitely not worth it. The cops out in the wheeler area have no problem handing you out a handful of tickets. Especially your ride stands out.

Well I was leaning towards getting AllPro's Standard Duty bolt on sliders. Come to find out I'm going to have to drill 32 additional holes. Gonna have to pass on that one.

Anyone know what sliders out there that's 100% bolt on, or at least doesn't require any drilling. Welding is not an option for me.

Relentless Fab. They have a true 100% bolt-on with some optional drilling if you want it to be sturdy all out.

Pelfreybilt. a little more pricey than some other options, but 100% bolt-on, confirmed by Satin.

Thanks for recommendations. Checked them out. Dang you guys aren't kidding about those prices. I think I'm going to have to go with BAMF. I'm gonna have to see what's the cost for shipping.

for what it's worth, BAMF bolt-on's (w/ kickout's) cost the same as Pelfreybilt, if you get them in the Boss GB. shipping might be cheaper through the GB though.
