    I allowed an update(constantly popping up) on my Galaxy 5s, totally f'ed my phone up, now won't play my music, wrong format!
    Verizon says it's Galaxys fault, they say it's Verizons, I say they both suck!

    The issue isn't with either, separately. It's with both. They say you should save what you can to your sd card. reset the phone to factory and then install the update.

    They shipped me a replacement phone, it's f'ed up too, I'm refusing the update, but it pops up every time I use the phone!
    I was really happy with the phone till this shit started, now I'm ready to move over to a different phone/carrier!
    Verizon can suck it!

    No problem. It was apparently a big scandal when it happened and pissed off LOTS of folks. U2 wanted to give away the album for free but they did so in a way that it was an automatic download whether you wanted it or not.

    You'd think Apple would correct this by now, it's an inconvenience and annoting to have to go thru getting rid of it for everyone that doesn't want it. Apple could easily solve it.

    Weird. I've updated mine every time and (knock on wood ) haven't had an issue. What music format you using . mp3?
