    I saw. Much secks.
    That's what I'm thinking.
Why not so much on a LT setup?

Also while we were on the subject of studs, what do you guys recommend for an upgrade? I'm gonna be putting bigass spacers on the rear and I thought stronger studs are always a better idea haha

700#s just seem to be a bit too heavy for a LT setup even with the weight of a plate bumper and winch. On a stock width truck they work great tho. Its a bit easier to maintain ride height on a truck 7" wider than stock, its a geometry thing and I'm sure someone can explain it way better than I can.

your stock studs will be fine on the rear as long as you keep up with the maintenance that spacers require ie. retorquing them everytime you rotate your tires. I ran 2" spacers in the back for awhile before I got my 9" housing and never had an issue but if you're looking to upgrade ARP IS300 studs are the best available but they will likely be to long to run under a wheel spacer.

In my head I was thinking 700 would be better on a long travel truck that with a stock length truck. The reason being because on a stock length truck you have much less downtravel when you're sitting at 2.5-3" of lift. However with the new angles of long travel, you can sit at an appropriate lift height and still maintain a more even down travel/uptravel. With a 700 lb coil on a stock length truck you need compress much more to full bump compared to Long Travel.

On the 2 white double cabs we have done they run a 700 main spring. The long bed has 12's and runs a 600 over a 700 and the shortbed truck I just put 10" foxes on and changed from a 500/600 to a 500/700 because it was blowing through the travel, but valving has a lot to with it also(all compression tubes were closed and still was blowing through and smashing bumps). The trucks do get used pretty hard though. It all depends on what you are doing with the truck and the suspension setup and shock angles.

    ...too much shit to list.
Apples and oranges IMO. You can't really compare a single rate to dual rate until you blow through the tender spring.

Agh, I know entering the long travel world is a lot of custom tuning and figuring it out. I crawl not jump.

    Agreed.

I run a single 16x600 on my front and its pretty dialed but the majority of that comes down to the tuning time I have in it
