URD just finished test fitting the updated version of our Spec-U Equal Length Long Tube Headers for the 2012 and later Tacoma V6 with the air injection system.

The test vehicle was is a 2012 Tacoma XRunner COMPLETELY STOCK other than the addition of our headers.

Peak gain was 17 RWHP and 30 RWTQ
Max Gain was 22 RWHP at 3500 RPM and 34 RWTQ at 3430 RPM.

The most important thing to note is the Spec-U headers makes power throughtout the ENTIRE RPM range. NO LOSS IN LOW END TORQUE.

The truck is beautiful and I hope the owner forgets to pick it up!!
The headers have been cleared for production and we expect to start taking orders in about a week and shipping in five weeks.

    Yes will fit 4x4 trucks.

Should be close to the non-air injection version we currently have.

The headers are made and are at ceramic coating. As usual that is taking forever. Just as soon as I know they are on the way back I will list them up for sale. Should be soon....

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
So much gainz in the 2500-4000rpm range I love so much. Should we expect similar gains for supercharged rigs? I imagine it will play nice with the URD Y-pipe as well?

I think they suggest the URD Y-Pipe with this on the product page on website.

Yeah.. now that I read it, the website says it should work great with any aftermarket Y-Pipe. A little curious about performance on boosted applications though. I get dat TRD supercharger installed in 3 weeks :)

I see you specified 2012+. Any reason why these wouldn't fit a 2009? What differences make them not fit?

pre-12s are out of stock, and have been for some time. Last note I'd sent to Gadget was that they expected some in the fall sometime, but that I should purchase now to get a spot, since he seems to sell them out. I just can't make myself do that.
