Thinking about buying. Nice kit but 29.00 standard shipping? Same shipping cost to Hawaii or more .Kit looks lot better than the stick on led strips.

According to the parts guy at the dealership, check Pep Boys. This is marketed by Southeast Toyota Region and seems to have a Toyota Parts number but is not a real OEM part.

These have a nice look. Did you hook them up yet? Wondering how bright they are.

Haha I know what you mean man.

You guys can always wait till I get mine and I'll see if this kit is rugged/durable then the stick on LED strips.

When I ready to put in bed lights going to pick up this kit. Like the factory look and no need to worry about strips falling off lol...

This is the one mod I've always wanted to do. Always contemplating in using those LED strips, until the OP found this kit.

I'm also going to try and see if it's possible to add or upgrade the LED's. Like say an LED board for the dome light.

Ordered it from EBay. Here's the link.

Anyone know where I could get this style of switch. I like the look of it. This one is from the new F150. This switch is the one that I want in the bed.

    *UPDATE*

Got the kit today via FedEx. For those interested in getting one but hesitant b/c you don't know what's included in the kit, or how durable it is. Here it is. Not gonna install it anytime soon since I'm still on the hunt for that F-150 style bed switch. The only thing that wasn't included was a hard copy for installing it. No big deal since we have awesome members like tomwil that found one for the Tacoma.

Pretty much all the wiring you need and then some. What do you guys think of just running it straight from the battery? Or maybe tap into the left side fuse box?

Zipties, taps, screws, weather pack connectors.

Here's how the back of the pod looking thing looks like.

I can confirm that it is sealed via a square washer.

Took the clear lens off. You can see the washer.

It looks like it can be easily modded to put in brighter LED's or something.

Well that's pretty much it for now, until I install it. If you guys got question(s), let me know. Keep you guys updated.

Got the switch today that'll be in the cab. Goes in the center under the HVAC controls. Not to sure if this are laser etch or not, but it'll do. I looked at Air On Board switches but not a fan of the legend they put on that switch.

Looked at a taco Pro that had these in the bed at the dealer. Said next year they will be removable like work lights.

Great find! I prefer OEM whenever possible, even if it's an accessory. Fitment will always be 100%.
