Same as my baby, Sabrina, minus the badass S/C. Congrats OP.

My idea here was to set up a dependable vehicle. Travel our awesome country before the Libs destroy it with entitlements. I have a 04 Rubicon for the ruff stuff, which I have used. My bucket list now that I have retired.....is to meet you nice folks as I travel.

Drove over to Grass Valley today and ordered my ARE camper shell with 2 rope LED's, fold down slider front window, Yakima rack for the kayak, free carpet thingy going on with ARE this month, matching key for the truck/camper shell. tailgate lock that matches the truck key. Thanks to the master Mod....I did the keyed hose clamps on the tail gate...still there. Oh!!! and I breached 300 miles on the truck today. FWIW I have been taching it easy (kinda a pun) on the new supercharger.

I live at 3500' on the west slope of the Sierra. It's a 30 minute drive from my ponderosa to a real kinda town. The real kinda town is 1600'. I have owned two V-8 pick-ups while living here since 89. Ford F150 with a 302 and a Chevy 2500 with a 454. I am a slam dunk believer in the Tacoma now!

That being said, the tacoma with s/c barely breaks a sweat coming up my mtn. It drops out of O/D just twice coming home, and only if I want to keep up with the V-8 Mtn Man trucks. It's amazing how powerful it is.

That being said....I only have 300+ miles on my Taco. For all the folks wondering about the S/C....I would do it over buying a small V-8 in a heartbeat. Prices may vary.

Both parties are responsible for this mess we are in but that is a whole other argument (please don't take it politically just an observation). It's a good looking truck man! Enjoy traveling the country and do come to oregon for the beer :D

Did you ever drive a Tacoma that wasn't charged or did you buy that one as is? If so how's the difference feel to you?

I did Chopper. A fellow friend on the Mtn Rescue Team has a 14 v6. Plus I drove my truck around Placerville...up/down the freeway (hill country) before the mod. I have yet to put the pedal to the floor..but when I took this baby home....it didnt downshift from overdrive. I was climbing....but i was giving it some break in kinda love.

Wow. You haven't went WOT yet? I would have immediately but breaking in is a good idea to be safe. Did you go WOT before blowing it so you have a comparison?

Thought I had explored most of the area (born and raised in Pollock.) It seems every time I get on here though, there's a new trail I want to explore! Take some pics of that beauty in the basin!
