No away bar. 65K+ miles and no issues. Hauled several loads and a few were more weight than I care to mention.

    They are on the list
In order to have a quick disconnecting sway bar, you need to remove the whole end links. There's nowhere to swing it out of the way. My brainstorming has begun.
I've always heard that second gens can handle it better than firsts.

Let me know if you think of anything for that quick disconnect. And yes I've heard second gens take it better too.

I prefer the look of 1st gen. To me they look more rugged than all shiny and pretty like the 2-present gen's IMHO.

I meant same story as in you can't make quick disconnects without removing the entire end link

Quick disconnects lol. It only takes like 10minutes anyway. So not worth the hassle

Just look at the build thread
The thing about quick disconnects is that the bar is still just hanging down there in the way so you'd have to come with someway to tie it up out of the way. Just take it off and be done. If you're running coils with a higher spring rate than stock, the difference in on-road driving will be minimal. I have 883s and the body roll turning at even 35-40mph isn't enough to even notice.

People have tried to build quick disconnects before and failed. The bar won't rotate past the coils, so it's a no go.

You didn't read what I posted.....in order to have a quick disconnecting sway bar, you have to be able to remove the entire end link.

I have 883 coils and the body roll is very noticeable. My rear end is in need of stiffening for sure. I may upgrade to Eibach 620lb coils sometime and then see if I can remove the bar for minimial difference. I've got a lot of weight on my front end as it is now. Bumper, winch, steel cable, IFS skid

    Yes.
Moving my "Broken Antenna" discussion out of the "Texas Stalkers" thread so I don't get murdered in my sleep for being off topic.

Saturday while at Hidden Falls Adventure Park. One of my 4 Aftermarket antennas didn't make it.
    This was a 4' K40 Superflex antenna. Now it's a whipin stick. :)

Were you the SWB access cab running around? I was wondering who that was.

    Yes.
I didn't see any other Speedway Blue Access Cabs, so most likely. If it had a half dozen antennas on it, that was me. :)

    Yes.
At least my antenna broke on the way back to Camp, before I left for the day.
And the CB is my least favorite part of my truck. It's a necessary evil. :)

For the quick disconnect. I hate to bring this up but jeep rubicons come with a sway bar disconnect for the front and rear. It is electric. Is there anything we can fab to make that work for a taco.
