886's are made for over 200 pounds of front head gear. I don't plan on ever haveing that much weight to support.

I was worried they would be to tall.. I figured the spacer would make the right hieght, or if it was to tall I could just take it out.. Did I screw up? 2" would be great less then 1.5 would be sad and over 2.5ight make the truck to level.. With 1.5/2" lift in the back

887's shouldn't be to tall. I just put some on my AC. Got about 2.5 to 3" of lift up front, with skids and sliders, no bumper. Truck almost sits level with dakars in the rear.

Well springs don't cost much if it's not looking to good I'll just have to change them out at some point.. Everyone throws different numbers up seems there's only one way to really find out.

If you know you're getting a winch, get 886's, OME shocks, and no spacers. I didnt think I'd actually buy one so I got 885's. They're fine until I get some Kings or Icons.

    Yes.
I have an '07 Access Cab and will be installing OME shocks with 885 front springs, and the OME Nitrocharger Sport shocks with a 2" wheeler's add a leaf kit in the rear.
No trail armor (yet), stock bumpers, and 265/70/17 wheels and tires. Should I expect to need longer brake lines and/or UCAs, or will these bolt up and be good to go as is?

    Thanks!

You are probably going to want UCA's, but you really don't KNOW if you need them until you are at the alignment shop. Brake lines should be fine stock. I don't have extensions and I got about 2" in the rear.

Got a question about the center threads on my ome 885 fronts. Should the treads be the same length, see picture, or should they be like this because of the trim packer on the one showing less threads? I got these pre assemble and this is the way they came.

I've had my OME 885's and dakars since Decembers. And I've since traded in my '11 on a 2015. Are there any issues other than the rear shocks with the 15's?

I think I will just install the 885x's without a spacer and see how that works out for me.. With the 1.5-2" general springs in the back

    Yes.
on a stock front end, will running the 886 springs have any negative effects in terms of safety or reliability? Or is it just going to lead to a rougher ride? I have 885 springs coming too, so I can just wait, disassemble, and reassemble the coilover and not worry about it.

Anyone? With any input on my front coils?

I also got 2 sets of Dakar bushings with my kit. Did I get an extra or should I swap out the ones that came installed in the front of the Dakars?

Thanks. Hope to get the rest of my odds and ends ordered next week and get this installed.

Just finished my Ome lift with General springs instead of dakers. Extremely happy with the height and drivability. image.jpg

Ome 885 springs/nitro shocks 90021, no spacer. Trim packer for the drivers side.
    LR UCA's
General springs HD leaf spring pack for the rear and Ome nitro shocks.

    Day of lift I got,
    Left front 23.25
    Right front 23.5
    Left rear 24.25
    Right rear 24.5

Figuring stock hieght is 20.5 front and 22 rear.(my stock shitty shit was a bit lower then that). That's a clean 3 inches in the front and 2.5 in the rear. Should settle atleast 1/2 in I figure to the desired hieght. Ride is great on and off road. so far very happy. Took myself with the girlfriend helping hand tools and what not 8 hours to complete.
    Any thing I didn't cover?

Glad to see someone with an access cab who is happy with the 885 coils. Been debating between the 2 since everything I've read lately has suggested the 884 for us.

I'm torn between Billy 5100 and nitrochargers, been tossing the idea of icons 2.0 around too. Any ideas? Living in the desert I love going to the lake, I don't do any crazy off roading but enough that I never leave without my hi lift for my 2wd. I want a softer ride for the Street since 80% of my ride is street, kind of fear a stiff ride.

My understanding is the Ome nitrochargers is the better shock. Bilstiens are said to be more stiff.. Ome is also about twice as much.. My tacoma stock shocks were not bilstiens however so I don't have any real experience.
I went withy he 885 due to my bumper. I was hoping for exactly 2.5 inches. I got 3 but I figure it should settle some..
