Does anyone ever wish they got the long bed instead of the SB

I love my long bed. IMO, LB > SB. It also looks correctly proportioned.

 

Strange they have Tacomas for days where I live.

 

I see. That seams to be the same around here. There are a handful of 4x4s and a ton of 4x2 prerunners

The only time I've ever seen a PreRunner in person was when I drove to North Carolina. Seemed to be about 50/50 there. Never seen one up here. Just a few 5-lugs here and there, mostly fleet vehicles.

 

Nope. They provide enough side vision in the down position.

There are times that the LB would be nice to have. I chose 6 speeds over 6 ft. and really wish the manual trans. was available in the LB.

I think a DCLB with a 3" lift looks amazing, better than the DCSB with the same lift. Just my opinion though.

I like the look of the LB with 3" lift but I drive over stuff so I got a short bed.

 

Went with the LB....just in case I needed to spend a few nights away from home. You never know.

 

I hear you. It's the same for me with my pop up camper. No reason to extend them but the factory were still too small.

 

I drive my DCLB to work, drive a DCSB at work, and can't want to get back into my DCLB at the end of the day. Superior truck in every conceivable fashion.

 

SB is winning in the polls

 

Had my 2012 AC for a little over 2 years and never hauled anything in it that I could not have used my DCSB for.
I do have room in my garage for a long bed but I am just happy with the shorty.

 

So it will fit in the garage

 

Why people build midget garages is beyond me .

 

Haha. You wouldn't believe it, but it's hard to find 1200 sf house with a 1600 sf garage in a nice subdivision

 

I have a 24' x 26' attached and a 26' x 36' detached. My DCSB sits in the driveway.
