I'm in SLP as well - the Lenox neighborhood. I think I have maybe seen you around from a distance. I have a black 2013 with roughly the same lift, and the black TRD wheels.

I know theres at least someone skulking around my neighborhood with a slightly beefed white Taco....

    Nice truck, amigo.

If anyone here needs or knows of anyone that needs things fabbed and welded, I have my garage set up for welding now. I'm certified in mig up to 3/4" and have a Lincoln 255 that can weld 1/2" easy. I usually weld bumpers, but have done all sorts of things. I'm pretty cheap compared to a real shop. And my garage is always open if you have a truck project to work on. I have plenty of tools. I'm in Farmington.

    I'm always ready!

Today I welded up a bumper, dropped my transmission pan and changed the filter, and put new front brakes on my truck. Tomorrow is new cv axles. I always have projects going around here.

The filter is the easy part. 4 bolts. Getting the pan off and cleaning all the rtv Toyota uses as a gasket sucks! This is assuming you have an auto.

I'm in Phillips West in downtown MPLS. Anybody have a recommendation for a good shop around here? My truck just hit 120k and I thought I'd find a good mechanic to do a once-over on it. I do all the periodic maintenance (oil change & lube, rotation, etc), but I've not done the diff fluid since I've owned it (purchased in 2013) and I might like to have someone with a shop do that since it can be a bit stifling working out of my tiny garage.

Super easy to do yourself! Drain and fills. If you need some guidance, there's info on here to see a step by step.

Thanks. You got a pic? I may have seen you on 494 one time. Seen many taco's in the Minneapolis area, but mostly just stock.

Yeah, I've seen a few fairly moderate Tacoma's around - usually just some mild lifts and maybe a bumper, but you're right, mostly stock. I think it's safe to say we're deep in Jeep territory here.

Nice lookin ride. I think you're right about the jeeps. Well at least it makes it that much more exclusive to be a Tacoma owner in this area. Part of the reason I didn't get an F150. There's usually on average 3 of them around you at any given time. Nothing against F150's though.

Ha we're not all stock! I don't really see that many Tacomas around here to be honest. They are a little more uncommon than I am used to.
