    No it's not. Nothing is going on down there. I know that place very well, I lived in baja for quiet a while.

    I'm going to revive this thread. I go fairly regularly and the more trucks and people, the better. I probably head down there once or twice a month and there's nothing to be afraid of as long as you don't try to buy drugs in TJ at 3:00 am. I'm thinking about a trip to Punta San Jose again the weekend of the 16th-18th. Not sure there will be swell, but it's a fun high speed dirt/rutted road out there and you're totally isolated. Let me know if you're interested!

    I don't surf but I camp and fish and can tear up some mass quantitates of fish tacos. I'm down to roll south for some trail riding and perhaps some deep sea fishing. The bite is on fire right now. Salud!
