When did you get the new phone? Why don't you like UI?

 

TouchWiz sucks. Get a different launcher like Apex Launcher.

 

I like my note 3

 

I hate the lack of cell service I get with my Note 3. I have shitty coverage at my house where my wife with an iPhone 5c has great coverage. Other than that, I love the phone.

 

Neither my wife's iphone 6 or 6+ get service at our place, along with my note 3 we just live in a cell phone black hole. However I have noticed other places where the iPhone's definitely get better cell reception

 

I had an HTC Incredible, upgraded it to a Galaxy Nexus. Noticed the signal strength wasn't as good, so traded it for an HTC Rezound. I've had the One M7 and M8 since. HTC phones have great reception. And the current models are all metal like iPhones.

 

Spotted a blue Tacoma with MKW M84 wheels at Stop & Shop in Bellingham yesterday. Was all stock besides that. Probably no one on here.

 

How's the rear suspension project going? Finished? I was going to start mine yesterday, but got lazy.

 

New leafpack installed on the driver's side, going to do the passenger side today. Usually things go smoother on the passenger side. I need to get the shocks out too, but those top posts are so rusted...

 

I guess I'll be lucky there. Not too much rust in Fla. unless you're in salt water. I've never replaced leafs, but it doesn't seem too difficult. I've been researching it here on TW. I'm going with Wheelers HD 5 leaf, All-pro u-bolt flip with Timbrens, and the TRD Baja suspension front and rear with Camburg UCA's. Looks good on paper. We'll see how the finished product ends up.

 

Both of my AALs broke, and one of the stock leafs broke while removing it. What I don't get, is some bolts on the truck looks like they're 20 years old, while others next them look brand new.

 

Bike is finally ALMOST there. Just gotta overhaul the electrical system, toss on the new clutch master, fill it with oil, and reroute the throttle cable

 

Passenger side dismantled. I took the less hard side first to learn for the driver's side. So far, so good. Still have all my phalanges intact.

 

I cheated because I've got air. I also soaked all my bilts in PB Blaster for a few days prior and with the obnoxious amounts of Fluid Film I used, I had basically no rust on anything. Luckily I bought a 100 pack of disposable gloves prior to starting as I needed almost all of them. I still need to clean some of my tools.

The last time I did suspension it was all by hand with my Accord and it was much more challenging. Doing the full truck in a day is a lot though.

 

Trucks are easy to lift. I can do a whole truck in 6-ish hours by myself

 

I sprayed the bolts last week, and again today. No air, but the Ryobi impact was very helpful on the u-bolts. I just got the rear bolt in the leaf. Looks like I'm going to have to cut down the new u-bolts to tighten/torque.
10-4 on the disposable gloves. I'm averaging half a box a side. Lol.

 

I could probably do it faster this time than my initial time once I figured out all the tricks. I had to get a new die to fix a bolt. The only issues I faced was getting the rear struts into the lower mount and fighting with the front sway bar enough to get everything where it needed to be.

That reminds me I will have to recheck all my torque settings the end of the week and adjust as needed. I should look into what it takes to remove the new vibration I have at take off b

 

Finished the rear. Passenger side leaf pack went in pretty easy. Had to destroy the upper rear shock bushings. I was able to remove the nut on the passenger side, but had to cut off the driver's side shock. Icon + Darkars are nice, both on and off road.

 

Yeah but you have done a few now. When you did your first I am sure it took awhile plus you were probably apprehensive about doing it
