Just swapped front coils for more lift. Had a WTF moment. Both bolts connecting the LCA to the knuckle were loose on the driver side. Like free spin loose. Should be 118lb/ft. They haven't been touched since I've owned it. Wonder how long they've been loose?!? Check your bolts, people!

 

Haha yea, I need to tighten up my ubolts, I can tell they're getting a tad loose again

Thanks for the tip, was up there for a few hours today. The little guy swallowed the hook whole, would have let him go otherwise, he will make a good nibble on bbq tomorrow.

 

You should replace them. I would for sure...

 

I checked all mine then marked them with paint pen so I'll know if they move. Pre wheeling inspection, I just take a look at all of the important bolts visually, and then (try to) spin with my thumb to double check. Good thing you found those when you did.

 

Got me all paranoid about my bolts.. Sent 45 mins under my rig.. Thank for Everything was tight.. Also something i am still getting use too... Not seeing a springs on the front end.. Just Shocks b

 

Probably will, still using the all pro flip kit and the u bolts were tough to get nuts on a second time. I need to get some stockers back there and give someone the plate

I still have my old stock ubolts. Have all the nuts, missing one washer. Yours if ya want em. Don't have the plates though. Still using em. If only someone had a flip plate....

 

I'll give ya the plates for a straight swap if you're interested. I think the Ubolts are toast though. they looked a little ovaled out and it took me like an hour per side to get them on, just torqueing the shit out of the nuts. Pretty sure any old U bolts will work.

 

Sounds good. Do you need the stock plates too?

 

Actually, I think I have stock U bolts, I just realized lol. But because the the plate flips the u bolts you need the All pro ones...since the U bolt wraps the axle, not the leaf pack.

 

Yeah there's a truck shop right by me that'll bend any ubolt you need.

So you just need the plate?
