image.jpg Well this is my first post as a new member, but a long time stalker of TW so here it goes. This bumper would be a great addition to my 2014 Tacoma and the first in a line of armour for it. After what seemed like a long wait to upgrade my suspension it seems like an eternity for me to start bolting on my armour and I'm not even close yet. So this would truly be a blessing. Thanks to you guys for offering up such an awesome contest and putting out great products.

Ok, I said I wasn't gonna do it, but screw it, use what you got...

I need this bumper because I just had a son 3 weeks ago :D and he needs this bumper as much as I do.

That's also how I convinced the wife I need a roll cage, because I said I was gonna give my new Tacoma to him when he's 16ish and I wanted him to have the safest truck ever.

You could attach a baby seat instead of the jerry can mount...

Need? Want? are they the same? Does it matter? If I were to win this bumper it would get mounted on our 2014 Tacoma Baja and get to travel the country with myself and my wife. The hidden hitch option would hook up our home built teardrop.

The Tacoma is our replacement for our first gen Tundra that has served us well over the last 13 years, but is getting up there in mileage.

In four years (after the kids get through college) we're ditching everything, jobs, house, belongings, all of it. We'll own the truck, teardrop, clothes and camping gear. We're going to tour the country and enjoy life. Since our travels will take us down many unknown roads, we are decking the truck out anyway and that rear bumper will just be sweetness added in.

We've got a rough itinerary, but beyond a few spots we must see (Baja!, Everglades, Grand Canyon, the Grasslands) our road is unplanned and we'll point the truck and trailer down whatever little path our eyes wander across.

It would be bad ideal to give me that bumper. I have all pro apex sliders and a bed rack. I'm also the front and rear stock bumper that keeps showing up to Moab for taco take over. If you picked to me I would me forced to buy a front bumper to match the rear bumper. Then you would be too see them in Moab again and again. Thanks for building great products!!

Hmm. Why do I need the All-Pro Dual Swing Out Rear Bumper?

Literally to SAVE THE WORLD and everyone on it... (well, kind of).
See, I am a poor starving student. Currently, I am working towards a Master's in Environmental Science and Management, specifically focusing on Water Resources Conservation. But the work I do helps formulate California's (and many other states and country's) drought strategies, and help develop comprehensive science based approaches to everyday environmental problems that affect communities around the world.

My truck not only gets me around, it gets me where I need to go to do some hardcore science and data collection. My truck has been the envy of my professors and fellow students (seriously). I recently took a mountain snowpack class near Mammoth Mountain in California (east side of the Sierras near Mono Lake). We had to drive up mountain passes, through snow, etc. just to get near our sampling locations. We took my truck because it was the only vehicle that could get close. Guess which car got stuck? Not mine... the Chevy did.
I also appreciate craftsmanship. I designed and welded my own expedition bed rack for fun. Is it the same craftsmanship quality as All-Pro? Hell no, I can't compete with that, but I know good sh*t when I see it.
You might be saying, "This kid has just been a student, but what makes him stand out?" I grab life by the balls. Big bull balls.. like there's no tomorrow. Who dabbled in metal fabrication by taking a metal fab class for fun? This guy. Who took Agricultural Equipment (aka TRACTOR DRIVING), too, for sh*ts and giggles? This guy. Who took beer and brewing because, well, it's beer and brewing? This guy. And that was just in undergrad.
Now as a Master's student, I take classes like remote sensing (playing with satellite data), GIS (map making), Earth System Science (literally how the entire Earth works), Enviro Law (lawyer stuff), and the lists goes on...

    BUT WAIT, There's more!
Now your asking yourself, "Fine, so this guy has done a ton of school stuff, and he's a hard worker, but he's just a nerd, and nerds don't need sweet ass bumpers."

    Wrong.

I'm not just a hippy tree hugging nerd who doesn't do other stuff too. I'm an outdoor enthusiast, love to go backpacking, off-roading, hunting, and camping (plus a nerd).
October 5th, 2006- the day I earned the rank of Eagle Scout. I also used to be a trail safety for backpacking, taught rock climbing and wilderness survival, and was a lifeguard for the BSA.
Ever heard of AmeriCorps (domestic PeaceCorps)? I decided that to serve the people of this country, I should do a year of community service teaching and helping my community how to maintain watershed health and conserve water and the environment.

Now, why do I need this bumper? It will get me more places, keep me more prepared (extra fuel and water), and make the truck look even better. It will also be more advertising for All-Pro. If I got this bumper, I'm showing and telling everyone about it. I'm putting stickers all over the truck, and I'm taking it places.
Besides, I'll never be able to afford the bumper on its own, at least for another decade. I have tuition to pay, rent and bills to pay, groceries to buy, and a woman I need to buy a ring for (and that ring just leads to more expenses, like a down payment on a house and a mortgage... kids... woa.)
So not only will this bumper help improve my truck so I can get to more places, you'll be helping me take my future kids and wife more places, ALL WHILE SAVING THE WORLD.

Sounds like a win-win for everyone.

Why do I need this bumper, well there are multiple reasons why. I am a 26 year old law school graduate with WAY to much in student debt, about the price of a brand few fully loaded Audi R8 V10 Convertible :ohsnap:, and zero job prospects because of the saturation of lawyers in Florida. I am also a Sergeant in the Army National Guard with 10 months left before I can go back on Active Duty. Because of the amount of debt and not being able to switch to Active Duty, I am going to be unable to afford a place to live while making my student loan payments.
Thats where my creative thinking comes in. I am fully planning on living out of my truck from July until I can get onto Active Duty. I am in the process of saving up for a RTT and a mounting system for the colder months and I have my Eno hammock for the rest of the time.
Having this bumper would all me a great place to stretch my hammock out at nights, as well as a great place for water and my spare tire.
This bumper would make my life much easier and hopefully more comfortable when I'm waiting for the transition period to pass.

I've been a long time admirer of everything that All Pro makes, and hope to fit my truck with many of the products available.

Hi, I'm Chris, I'm currently enlisted in the Marine Corps at 1st Recon Bn Camp Pendleton, I utilize my truck daily to commute too and from work as well as at work. I depend on my truck to do everything that I need it to do and then some. Having a great product like this would be a tremendous asset to my vehicle. Thank you
